"Machine Learning for Climate and Weather Applications" workshop

I'm not affiliated with this program, but I get the IMSI institute's newsletter.
They are holding a "long program" in Fall 2022 calledΒ

"Confronting Global Climate Change"

https://www.imsi.institute/activities/confronting-global-climate-change/

It is composed of several workshops, including "Machine Learning for Climate and Weather Applications"
"Applications which are complete by 12/31/2021 will have first priority for consideration." I'm not sure if the 12/31 deadline is for the long program and if there will be a later deadline to join the workshop?

Artificial Intelligence for Earth System Predictability (AI4ESP)

The U.S. Department of Energy just finished a workshop called "Artificial Intelligence for Earth System Predictability" (AI4ESP). On the website, you can read the white papers that were submitted, and if you click on the "workshop" tab, you'll see the YouTube videos of the plenary talks.
